Vicki Leibowitz

Vicki Leibowitz is currently completing her PhD entitled ‘Lest we forget: Critical Intertextuality in the Shrine of Remembrance’ which draws on her previous research on memory, monuments and architecture. She holds includes a BA (Hons1) from Otago University, BArch (Hons1) from Victoria University of Wellington and a MArch (Research) from RMIT. In 2012 she co-founded Cottage Industries, an artistic collaborative which investigates the intersection of women, art and architecture within the domestic sphere. Their latest project entitled Haus de Frau was produced as part of Expanded Architecture in collaboration with the Bauhaus Dessau and was installed at the Museum of Sydney. Vicki attempts to draw together teaching, theory and creative practice in the course of her work.
