ATCH at the School of Architecture, The University of Queensland, Australia is looking for a person to work full time as a Project Officer.
The role: The successful appointee will assist with the management of the ATCH Research Centre and undertake research duties for the ARC Discovery Project "Is architecture art? a history of categories, concepts and recent practices".
The person: Applicants should possess qualifications from a recognised university in the discipline of Architecture or cognate Humanities disciplines, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training for a HEW 5 position. Applicants eligible for a HEW 6 position should hold a degree from a recognised university in the discipline of Architecture or cognate Humanities disciplines with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Furthermore, applicants should have advanced oral and written communication skills, experience as a researcher within a higher education context and a demonstrated ability to work to meet the competing demand of multiple projects
Remuneration: This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 5/6 depending on qualifications. The remuneration package will be in the range $62,716 - $ 70,242 p.a. (HEW 5) or $72,046 - $77,635 p.a. (HEW 6), plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $73,378- $82,173 p.a. HEW 5 or $84,294 – $90,833 p.a. HEW 6).
