Parlour "Guides" short-listed for RIBA President's Award

Thursday, 6 August 2015

"Parlour Guides to Equitable Practice" is one of four projects to make the shortlist for the Royal Institute of British Architects President’s Award for University-located Research, 2015.

The "Guides" are a product of the Australian Research Council Linkage Grant funded, cross-university, and interdisciplinary research project, "Equity and Diversity in the Australian Architecture Profession: Women, Work and Leadership", led by ATCH member Assoc Prof Naomi Stead. ATCH PhD Candidate Gill Matthewson's forthcoming thesis, "Dimensions of Gender: Women’s Careers in the Australian Architecture Profession", will be another significant outcome of this ARC-backed project.

The Guides are available for download at the Parlour website.

The winners of RIBA's President’s Awards will be announced this September.
