ATCH receives grant to produce book on Queensland architect Robin Gibson

Monday, 13 August 2018

ATCH has received funding from the Department of Housing and Public Works (Queensland) to write a book on the Queensland architect Robin Gibson (1930-2104). Best known for his work on the Queensland Cultural complex, the study seeks to examine the architect's complete career and will be based on materials from the Gibson archive which was recently donated by the Gibson family to the Fryer Library. Edited by Dr Deborah van der Plaat and Lloyd Jones, who is undertaking a PhD with ATCH on the architect, the book will be published in late 2019.
